Duties and Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
• Focus on the rejuvenation of the Sustainability department.
• Products and services will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.

• Focus and review regularly through my physical presence in the department, our rigorous adherence to LQA standards.
• Fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures and provides assistance to guests in all property emergency evacuation and medical procedures.
• Maintain the health of plants, vegetables, and trees by accurately identifying plant diseases as they arise and using organic fertilizers and pesticides to eliminate these diseases.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
• Knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to my position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.

Qualifications

• I confirm that I have a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, or closely related field. I also have the technical skills and at least two years’ experience in a sustainability-related role within hospitality with proven results.
• Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS and OPERA platforms and have knowledge on property and policies.
• Fluent in English
