Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist in SAP PP&QM to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our production planning and quality management processes are effectively integrated and optimized within our SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP modules related to production planning (PP) and quality management (QM), and will be responsible for aligning these processes with our overall business strategy. The Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the implementation of best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and optimize existing SAP PP&QM processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
2. Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules.
3. Lead the implementation of new SAP functionalities and enhancements to meet evolving business requirements.
4. Provide training and support to end-users on SAP PP&QM functionalities and best practices.
5. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
6. Develop and maintain documentation for SAP processes, including user manuals and training materials.
7. Conduct regular audits of SAP data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
8. Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
9. Act as a liaison between IT and business units to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and SAP advancements to continually enhance our operational capabilities.

Preferred Candidate

1. Proven experience in SAP PP&QM modules within a manufacturing environment.
2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
3. SAP PP & QM certification preferred
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across diverse teams.
6. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
7. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
8. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
9. Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement.
10. Relevant SAP certification is a plus.
11. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
