Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an Electrical Design Senior Manager for City Assets to lead the electrical design efforts for our urban developments. This role ensures all electrical systems meet high standards of performance, sustainability, and accessibility, contributing to Qiddiya's vision as a premier entertainment and leisure destination. The City Asset portfolio includes Education, Security, Religious, and Healthcare projects.
As the Electrical Design Manager, you will oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems supporting Education, Security, Religious, and Healthcare facilities within the city. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless integration, functionality, and aesthetics of the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design for city infrastructure projects, including public spaces, facilities, and utilities.
- Oversee electrical system design across projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and manage electrical design specifications, calculations, and detailed drawings during project lifecycle.
- Ensure designs meet local codes, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance of electrical installations.
- Prepare project documentation, presentations, and reports for stakeholders and management.
- Review and approve design calculations, specifications, and drawings for integrity and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee the design team’s work.
- Promote innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive design solutions.
- Present technical reports and design proposals to stakeholders and senior management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in electrical design management, especially in urban infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presentations.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to sustainable design practices and innovation.
- Experience in designing/construction of at least one of the following: Education, Security, Religious, or Healthcare projects.
- Proven leadership skills to motivate and guide engineering teams.
