Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Procurement Manager - Commercial Manager to lead our procurement initiatives and support the successful delivery of our ambitious projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company's goals, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Your expertise will be critical in managing the purchasing process from start to finish, including market analysis, supplier negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. You will work collaboratively across teams to identify procurement needs and drive procurement excellence throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies in alignment with project milestones and organizational objectives.
  • Lead the sourcing process for goods and services including market research, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure successful partnerships and collaborative practices.
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics and optimize processes for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to procurement activities and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
  • Train and mentor team members on procurement policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and reports for management review.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the construction or entertainment sectors.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing effective procurement strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of market trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
