Senior Manager of Retail Development

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager of Retail Development to play a pivotal role in shaping the retail landscape of our innovative project.

This key position will involve managing the development process of retail initiatives, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's strategic vision and operational goals.

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of retail projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and driving retail development strategies that promote customer engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of retail development projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and operations to create compelling retail environments that enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Assist in the identification of retail opportunities, conducting market research to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers, leasing & delivery partners, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s objectives.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, updates, and reports to senior leadership, articulating the vision, objectives, and progress of retail initiatives.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and milestones to ensure that all development activities adhere to the established plans.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to inform development strategies and ensure relevance in the market.
  • Implement best practices in retail development, ensuring compliance with business unit operating model, local regulations and safety standards.
  • Guide and mentor a team of retail development professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
