Role: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and sales strategies to establish our asset as a premier destination. Drive revenue, footfall, brand visibility, and partnership opportunities in alignment with the destination's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to support the destination's growth targets.
- Manage and evolve the destination's brand positioning, tone, and visual identity across all channels.
- Oversee the execution of 360‑degree marketing campaigns, including ATL, BTL, and digital.
- Lead business development initiatives to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations.
- Analyze customer segmentation, visitation trends, and sales data to guide targeted efforts.
- Supervise content production including photo, video, copywriting, and branded materials.
- Optimize the destination's digital ecosystem, including the website, booking engine, and social platforms.
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, grand openings, and major events with other departments.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for marketing and sales.
- Build and manage relationships with agencies, PR firms, influencers, and digital partners.
- Oversee the CRM database and ensure personalized marketing and email campaigns.
- Manage group and corporate sales efforts, including proposals and presentations.
- Represent the destination's trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings as required.
- Prepare and manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring cost‑effective strategies.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Provide input to the Department’s strategy from the section’s perspective, in alignment with the destination's vision and mission.
- Develop the Department objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans, ensuring implementation meets performance targets.
- Contribute to the section budget preparation and monitor financial performance.
- Implement and ensure adherence to Section or Unit policies and procedures; oversee performance and KPI communication.
- Ensure effective staffing, development, and deployment of section employees in coordination with higher management.
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Years of Experience: 10 years (with 3+ years in managerial role) preferably within leisure, tourism, or entertainment sectors.
Other Requirements
- Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with both digital and traditional media.
