The Senior Development Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. This position involves close coordination with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that Program Management Consultancy (PMC) services are delivered effectively and efficiently across assigned developments.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects within a designated sector (e.g., dry utilities, distribution networks), ensuring timely progress through each phase in accordance with the Stage Gate Process.
Supervise and guide project teams to ensure seamless coordination, communication, and execution across all project stakeholders.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage their implementation.
Ensure regular communication with the client and internal leadership, providing updates on project performance, risks, and key milestones.
Oversee compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure effective integration and coordination with support functions including Pre- and Post-Commercial teams, Project Controls, HSE, and Quality Assurance.
Manage Design Manager(s), ensuring design outputs meet project goals and sector-specific requirements.
Coordinate with other sector leads to maintain overall program coherence and integration across workstreams.
Monitor key performance indicators, assess project health, and implement corrective actions as required to ensure successful delivery.
