Overview

We are currently seeking a Saudi highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dhahran. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong accounting expertise to contribute to the financial success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with established accounting principles and regulatory requirements.


• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and provide support in forecasting future financial performance. Monitor actual financial results against budgeted expectations and provide analysis of variances.


• General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.


• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and financial performance metrics. Provide recommendations to management based on analysis results to improve financial efficiency and profitability.


• Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, and internal control procedures. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the resolution of any audit findings.


• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and implementing automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Propose and lead initiatives for process improvement and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.


• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.


• In-depth knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations, and requirements.


• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP or Oracle is advantageous.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.


• Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
