Job summary

A reputable construction firm in Tabuk Province, Neom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects’ contractual and financial elements. This role includes preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tenders, as well as analyzing project documents to ensure compliance with legal and quality standards. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction cost management. Proficiency in cost estimation software is essential.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC or other standard contract formats is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for construction projects.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine costs.
  • Monitor and control project expenditure.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular cost analysis and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Certify progress claims and final accounts.
  • Identify and evaluate variations, claims, and potential risks.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost‑effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy) and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC or other standard contract formats is a plus.
