Saudi German Hospital – Jeddah is seeking a Quality Manager to support and implement the hospital’s quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on operational execution, compliance, and performance improvement across clinical and non‑clinical areas, working closely with department heads and reporting into senior quality leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the hospital’s quality, patient safety, and performance improvement programs in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, procedures, standards, audits, and documentation.
- Coordinate CBAHI and other regulatory/accreditation compliance activities, including gap assessments, mock surveys, and corrective action follow-up.
- Monitor and analyze quality indicators, KPIs, dashboards, and incident reports, ensuring timely reporting and action tracking.
- Lead incident management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA participation, and follow‑up of corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate patient safety initiatives, safety rounds, reporting culture, and staff awareness programs.
- Collaborate with clinical and support departments to improve clinical effectiveness, care pathways, infection prevention, and patient outcomes.
- Support mortality & morbidity reviews, clinical audits, and quality improvement projects.
- Provide training and guidance to departments on quality standards, patient safety, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare‑related field (Nursing, Allied Health, Medicine, Healthcare Administration, or similar).
- 5–8 years of experience in hospital quality and patient safety, preferably within an acute or tertiary care setting.
- Hands‑on experience with CBAHI standards and accreditation readiness (JCIA exposure is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of incident reporting systems, risk management, clinical audits, and quality improvement tools.
- Demonstrated ability to support and deliver measurable quality and patient safety improvements.
- Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
