Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure batch manufacturing is executed according to approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR/BPR).
  • Coordinate with Planning, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Warehouse to ensure material and equipment readiness.
  • Monitor production performance indicators (OEE, yields, downtime) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate production operators and technicians.
  • Conduct training on processes, safety, hygiene, and SOP updates.
  • Manage staffing and shift allocations to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Support process validation, equipment qualification, and technology transfer activities.
Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (tablets, capsules, oral liquids, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, regulatory guidelines, and pharmaceutical production processes.
  • Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
