Job Summary:
We are hiring a Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end purchasing for a high-end woodwork/joinery operation. You will manage supplier screening, contract negotiation, import and local purchasing, and on-time deliveries for kitchens, closets, and bespoke fit-out projects. The role focuses on sourcing woodwork materials, fittings & hardware, finishes, accessories, and related appliances—ensuring compliance with KSA regulations (SABER/SASO) and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Duties:
• Identify, qualify, and onboard reliable suppliers (local & international); maintain scorecards and ASL.
• Run RFQs/RFPs, analyze total cost, and negotiate contracts/POs to secure best value.
• Track orders, logistics, and customs clearance to achieve OTIF delivery to factory and site.
• Ensure compliance with import rules, SABER registrations, and certification requirements (e.g., LEED,FSC/PEFC where applicable).
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years procurement experience in woodwork/joinery, furniture, or fit-out manufacturing.
• Proven knowledge of KSA import processes and documentation (SABER/SASO).
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel (costing/analysis/reporting).
Required Competencies:
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and vendor-development skills.
• Analytical mindset with solid understanding of TCO, Incoterms, and freight/logistics.
• Ability to interpret BOMs/specs and align purchasing with production needs and timelines.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
