Job description
What You Will Do
  • Understand the Purchase request and make the link between the internal need and the potential products, markets and suppliers.
  • Understand the internal need requested and define the strategy to be applied.
  • Manage the purchase order placement process, negotiate, identify and manage the risks, and follow up the contract execution till the reception of the purchase order & Payment.
  • Ensure that the suppliers achieve the goals and expectations regarding quality, delivery and cost.
  • Eventually handle the claims raised and settle disputes with suppliers.
  • Populate suppliers and subcontractor’s database according to the company needs and process qualification of the suppliers.
  • Liaise with engineering, project execution, sourcing specialists, Key Commodity Managers and other stakeholders to assess the best value for price solutions.
  • Coordinate project procurement activities for assigned projects (budgets, planning, follow-up meetings).
  • Make price agreements, new agreement contracts with manpower, service, construction etc..
  • Review with legal and keep organized records.
  • Travel to supplier locations as required.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Engineering qualification and / or Pressure parts procurement experience in an Industrial and fabrication environment.
  • Able to understand the technical specifications and inspection requirements.
  • Team player, open minded, creative and problem solving.
  • Able to drive changes.
  • Rigor in the daily routine.
  • Experienced or skilled to manage different tasks and requests at the same time in a project environment.
  • Positive mindset at all times.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Fluent in English; any additional languages will be valued.
  • Services and manpower contracts.
  • You are a quick learner.
  • Intercultural skills and international exposure.
  • You have an ability to work for time-challenging projects.
  • Demonstrate very good practical knowledge of Pack Office.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
