Job summary

A leading PropTech firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Principal Business Analyst to transform core transaction systems. The role involves leading requirement gathering, conducting gap analyses, and defining functional specifications while ensuring compliance with KSA regulations. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience, preferably in Banking or Financial Services, and possess strong communication skills. Summary: We are a fast-growing PropTech company in Saudi Arabia, revolutionizing how real estate is financed, bought, and managed. We are looking for a Principal Business Analyst to lead the transformation of our core transaction systems. You will act as the bridge between our business stakeholders and technical teams, applying the rigor of Core Banking systems (Lending, Escrow, Payments) to the dynamic world of Real Estate Technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Core Systems Strategy: Lead the requirement gathering and solution design for our core operational platforms (Property Management, Payment Gateways, Escrow Management, and Lending/Mortgage Integrations).
  • Gap Analysis & Transformation: Conduct detailed "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" analysis to migrate legacy manual processes into automated, scalable digital workflows (similar to Core Banking transformations).
  • Product Definition: Translate complex business needs into clear Functional Specifications (FSD), User Stories, and Use Cases for the development team using Agile methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Business stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Finance) and Technical teams; simplify complex technical constraints for non-technical leadership.
  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Define the Test Strategy, review Test Cases, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure zero-defect rollouts for critical financial transactions.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all systems and processes comply with KSA regulations (SAMA/REGA) regarding payments, data privacy, and real estate transactions.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Functional Consulting, with a strong background in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) or High-Transaction environments.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Lending/Loan Management Systems, Payments, or Escrow workflows is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Core Banking Systems: e.g., Temenos T24, Silverlake, Oracle Flexcube.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum tools (JIRA, Confluence); strong understanding of API integrations, Data Migration, and Reporting (MIS); ability to read/understand technical architecture (SIT/UAT processes).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to business leadership.
  • Proven track record of working independently and leading small to mid-sized teams (5+ resources).
