Overview

The Network Security Operations Manager protects the integrity of ADC’s telecom infrastructure by leading operational cybersecurity across RAN, core, and transport domains. This role ensures continuous threat visibility, incident response readiness, and infrastructure hardening in line with national and internal mandates (e.g., NCA, SAIS, 3GPP). Operating at the intersection of telecom and cybersecurity, this role is vital to the resilience of critical services, secure service delivery, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily network security operations, including real-time monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Coordinate with NOC, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to manage vulnerabilities, configuration hardening, and forensic investigations.
• Oversee implementation and operation of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access control mechanisms across infrastructure layers.
• Maintain compliance with NCA, SAIS, and 3GPP security frameworks for telecom infrastructure.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments, penetration testing coordination, and security audits.
• Ensure detailed security documentation including logs, event records, and incident post-mortems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during infrastructure upgrades to embed security-by-design practices.
• Report operational security posture and incident trends to leadership, recommending preventive improvements.
• Manage a team of security engineers and analysts, ensuring continuous readiness and skills development.
