Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission medical gas pipeline systems and related equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and performance testing.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks and malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain records as per regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Calibrate flowmeters, pressure regulators, and vacuum systems.
  • Support new hospital equipment installation interfaced with gas systems.
  • Coordinate to minimize downtime during maintenance work.
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
  • Provide technical reports after service completion.

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and experienced Medical Gas Technicians to join our client’s healthcare engineering and maintenance team in Riyadh. The selected candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of medical gas pipeline systems and related equipment across hospitals and healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission medical gas pipeline systems, outlets, manifolds, and alarm units.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and performance testing of medical gas systems.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, pressure issues, and component malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and system certifications as per regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure systems meet safety standards and hospital operational protocols.
  • Calibrate flowmeters, pressure regulators, and vacuum systems for accurate performance.
  • Support the installation of new hospital equipment interfaced with gas systems.
  • Coordinate with hospital engineering departments to minimize downtime during maintenance work.
  • Follow all infection control and safety guidelines during installation and maintenance operations.
  • Provide technical reports and documentation after service completion.
Essential Qualifications
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in medical gas pipeline installation or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of MGPS (Medical Gas Pipeline System) standards, e.g., HTM 02-01 or NFPA 99.
