AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Mechanical Engineer (STP experience) in Riyadh, KSA.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams, work with, effectively delegate to and coach junior team members to deliver effective results.
- Develop and manage mechanical engineering projects or design deliverables for assigned projects, including investigations, report writing, design and construction administration.
- Support and lead business development activities for the mechanical engineering group in Vancouver, as a client facing individual.
- Developing, monitoring and maintaining project schedule and budget for mechanical engineering design deliverables.
- Ensure the quality and consistency, accuracy, and neatness of mechanical engineering and deliverables as part of corporate QA/QC program.
- Perform site investigations safely including travelling to site (including driving), walking around construction sites, carrying a ladder or other items (approximately 35lbs) around site and climbing ladder to access ceiling space, observing mechanical services at low level, and complying with safety regulations and requirements.
- Participate in local and corporate sustainability initiatives to positively advance both corporate and industry developments.
- Use software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, and Microsoft Office to prepare deliverables as required.
Requirements
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Professional Engineer registered with EGBC.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in Sewage Treatment Plants.
- Established reputation in the local industry.
- Must have experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for buildings, including utilization of applicable codes, standards, and design tools.
- Has a desire to grow their career by progressively taking on more leadership responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to develop a solution and be able to communicate it effectively with teammates, other disciplines, subcontractors, project managers and clients.
