Mechanical Engineer

Location: Dammam/Khobar/Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and supervise mechanical and plumbing works, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Lead mechanical systems construction; review drawings, inspect installations, and supervise system implementation.
• Design and fabricate custom truck trailer solutions using CAD software; collaborate with teams and communicate with clients.
• Prepare proposals, provide technical assistance, manage projects, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with company policies and high standards.
• Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, manage projects, collaborate with teams, and ensure safety.
• Monitor installation and commissioning of mechanical systems; prepare technical submittals and inspection requests, focusing on HVAC and plumbing.
• Responsible for tendering, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation in construction, requiring proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD.
• Handle static and piping activities, optimize operations, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in planning and implementing mechanical systems, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, BTech, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, other design tools).
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and automotive/industrial design.
• Experience with SAP, PRIMAVERA, and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with rotating equipment maintenance and power plant operations preferred.
• Ability to work independently, mentor junior engineers, and manage project deliverables in oil and gas or construction environments.
