Job Purpose

As the Manager Esports World Cup Product, you will support the development, execution, and enhancement of the Esports World Cup (EWC) tournaments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in esports product management, a deep understanding of the esports landscape, and the ability to drive initiatives that position the EWC as a premier event in the global esports calendar.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and driving the overall strategy for the EWC, setting the vision and strategic goals.
• Co-develop design choices for the EWC, including qualifiers, activities, venues, and prize pools.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to enable the implementation of design choices.
• Support the continuous development of the Clubs Championship concept.
• Assist in developing and managing the broadcasting strategy for the EWC.
• Supervise the operations of the World Cup and provide on-site support throughout the event.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Clubs and Players, Community, Marketing, Games, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Conduct annual revisions of the product concept, including benchmarking and screening other esports events and league structures.
• Define and monitor strategic key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of events, driving decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Collect feedback after tournaments and develop action plans for future events.
• Work on the overall product governance, including budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
• Prepare status reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in the esports industry, with a focus on product management and event execution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans.
• Experience in managing large competitive products and designing esports ecosystems/tournaments.
• Expert knowledge of gaming genres relevant to esports, league structure, and the global esports event scene.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-pressure work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
