Job Description

Perform high grade machining operating according to the manufacturing documents (drawing, work instructions, specification and CNC Program). A skilled worker is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine tools to manufacture products from casting & forging materials. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring the accuracy of machine operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Operating CNC machines to perform tasks various machining tasks.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawing and related manufacturing drawings etc.
• Prepare and load workpiece and setup onto the machine tools.
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher
• CNC machine tools operators for Deep hole machine.
• Must have special knowledge of deep hole machining.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in operation of machine tools.
• Operating with one of the CNC controllers (FANUC, SIEMENS and etc.) but not essential
• Operating experience of heavy-duty machine tools
• Be able to install various heads and using them skillfully.
• Understand / review machining manufacturing drawings & technical specifications.
• General machine tools and machining technical understanding, knowledge of tooling and measuring instruments.
• Interpret CNC programs as required on the job. Creating & editing manual programs. (Manual Data Input G&M codes)
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measuring instruments.
• Use measuring tools and gauges to ensure quality of products that required general and precision tolerances.
• Capable of working own initiative.
• Perform self-prevention and regular consumable change work on Deep hole machine tools.
• Train new employees on how to properly operate Deep hole machine tools.
• Previous experience with similar oil & gas field parts if preferred, but not essential
