Job summary

A leading construction and engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Chief Surveyor who will implement quality control and maintain accuracy in surveying during construction. This role involves supervising surveying teams, developing professional skills, and ensuring compliance with surveying standards. Applicants should have a minimum of 8 years of experience, including 5 years relevant to the field, and be proficient in technology related to surveying. A Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years working experience, with 5 years relevant experience.
• 2 years of experience in GCC region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the professional development and continuous learning of surveying staff.
• Supervise a group of personnel and maintain task balance.
• Prepare and analyze survey reports.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives.

Skills

Knowledge of Qatar Surveying manual (QSM)

Knowledge of Information Technology

Knowledge of Advance surveying technology

Knowledge of Quantity Calculation

Structural and Architectural drawings understanding

ERP knowledge (preferably SAP)

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering

Professional Qualification in Chartered membership (CIOB or RICS)
