Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conduct inspections, and deliver safety training. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction or related industries, along with relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH). This role involves significant interaction with employees to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of experience as a safety officer in construction or related industries.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are strongly preferred.
• First aid and firefighting training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard analyses.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and management systems.
• Deliver safety trainings and drive a safety culture.
• Investigate accidents and prepare incident reports.
• Perform safety inspections and audits for compliance.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Produce regular safety performance reports.
