A leading manufacturing company in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Lead Analyst for Business Planning. This critical role involves developing long-range market forecasts and providing strategic insights for corporate decision-making. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI is essential, as is the ability to analyze market trends in the MENA region.

  • Lead the preparation and continuous refinement of the 10-Year Strategic and Business Plan.
  • Analyze macroeconomic, geopolitical, and market trends within MENA and GCC.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic presentations to executive leadership.
  • Build a strategic planning database integrating external and internal data.
  • Monitor geopolitical and market changes evaluating their implications.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Lead Analyst, Business Planning plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s future by developing long-range market forecasts, performing scenario planning, and providing strategic insights that inform corporate decision-making and investments. This role is integral to the 10-year corporate planning process, ensuring that business strategies align with long-term objectives and market dynamics. The Lead Analyst will collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure that the company remains agile and well‑positioned for future growth.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the preparation and continuous refinement of the 10-Year Strategic and Business Plan.
  • Analyze macroeconomic, geopolitical, and market trends within MENA and GCC to assess business risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic presentations to executive leadership, articulating assumptions, scenarios, and impact.
  • Build a strategic planning database by integrating external data, internal insights, and client demand signals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and external consultants to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Monitor geopolitical and market changes and evaluate their strategic implications.
  • Lead scenario planning and development of strategic response options.
  • Facilitate executive discussions to address feedback and update planning assumptions.
  • Integrate long‑term planning outputs with financial, operational, and investment strategies.
QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 4 years in market research, pricing, or business/market intelligence.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Expertise in long-term forecasting methodologies and financial modelling.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
