Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in laundry operations of a five-star hotel with a minimum of 200 rooms, or in a large commercial laundry.
• Proficient in written and verbal English.
• Strong computer skills and effective training skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily staff briefings.
• Report all relevant activities of the department.
• Conduct quality inspections of Laundry, Linen, and Uniform Room.
• Give regular feedback to supervised staff.
• Ensure staff adherence to hotel rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for linen washing.
• Monitor staff productivity according to hotel standards.
• Oversee cleanliness and upkeep of hotel areas.

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Service Manager - Laundry, the Service Leader Laundry assists in directing and maintaining all aspects of the operations of the laundry department and the Uniform/Linen Room in accordance with established standards.

As a Laundry Supervisor, we rely on you to,

• Conducts daily staff briefings.
• Attends and reports all relevant activities of the department.
• Conducts quality inspections of all Laundry, Linen and Uniform Room.
• Gives regular feedback to supervised staff as may be appropriate.
• Ensures that the staff adhere to the rules and regulations of the Hotel.
• Coordinates with outside vendor for washing all linen except guest laundry.
• Monitoring the colleagues productivity is as per the Hotel standard.
• Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the overall Hotel areas.

• Minimum 3 years experience in Laundry operations of a five-star hotel with a minimum of 200 rooms, or in a large commercial laundry.
• Written and verbal English.
