Job description

Unilabs is seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated Laboratory Technicians to join our growing team in KSA. Laboratory Technicians and Assistant Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bench work
  • Review changes to technical documentation, including those of external origin
  • Validate study reports in their area of responsibility
  • Check in samples from ARCA
  • Perform receiving inspection of items
  • Check delivery notes against purchase orders
  • Register non-conformities, complaints, and suggestions; correct them immediately
  • Draw up templates within their area of intervention
  • Develop operating procedures within their area of intervention
  • Identify inappropriate equipment, RMMs, and supplies related to the work area
  • Dispose of samples
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Genomics, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related fields
  • Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
  • Valid medical laboratory technician certification is preferred, but training will be provided
