One of the leading global companies in media intelligence and insights, established in 1984, is hiring a Key Account Director to lead and manage Tier 1 strategic accounts. The role focuses on ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction, delivering value, and expanding the scope of services through upsell opportunities. Your Responsibilities
- Understand client needs and design effective plans to meet their requirements.
- Meet clients regularly, consult on their needs, and position our services through a consultative selling approach.
- Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and drive client deliverables with innovative ideas.
- Conduct periodic health checks and ensure high satisfaction ratings that align with company standards.
- Oversee and guide team members to ensure processes are followed for revenue growth.
- Drive cross‑functional projects across finance, marketing, product, monitoring, analysis, and market research.
- Present accurate and timely reports, forecasts, and updates.
- Be available for urgent requirements and client crisis management.
- Lead and oversee the media monitoring and reporting team dedicated to the key account, ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations to deliver more value to the client and elevate the account’s overall performance.
- Develop and implement a structured account management framework to enhance efficiency, organization, and client satisfaction, including regular client meetings, contact reports, written briefs, and deliverable sign‑off sheets.
- Strengthen team management through clear guidance, training, and support to improve productivity and accountability, including regular team meetings.
- Streamline administrative processes to ensure faster turnaround times for media reports and client requests.
- Establish rigorous quality control measures to improve the accuracy and relevance of media insights and reporting.
- Foster proactive communication with the client, actively addressing concerns, and providing strategic recommendations to rebuild trust.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by Managing Director.
Your Qualifications
- 8–10 years of B2B client servicing or commercial experience.
- Based in the GCC or proven experience working with GCC clients.
- Previous Media Intelligence or PR agency experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, or Government sectors is a plus.
- Candidates with secondee experience (working directly within client organizations on behalf of their employer) are preferred.
