Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of JIRA projects, including workflows, issue types, fields, screens, and user permissions.
- Create and manage JIRA dashboards, filters, and boards using JQL to support teams and reporting needs.
- Support user access management by creating, modifying, or removing accounts, groups, and roles based on governance approvals.
- Provide first-level support for JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket users including troubleshooting and usage guidance.
- Maintain Confluence spaces and content linking for project documentation, release notes, and knowledge bases.
- Coordinate with BI or reporting teams to export and prepare JIRA data for KPI / SLA dashboards in Power BI.
- Assist in configuring automation rules (notifications, status updates, field population) using built-in JIRA features.
- Help monitor plugin usage (e.g., ScriptRunner, Xray, BigPicture) and assist with basic setup and support.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, usage guidelines, and platform standards.
- Ensure adherence to established configuration practices, naming conventions, and data quality standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related field.
- Solid understanding of project tracking tools, service management systems, and process governance.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in JIRA / Atlassian administration or related IT support functions.
- Exposure to Agile, SDLC, or ITSM environments where JIRA is used as a central work and reporting platform.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of JIRA Software and JIRA Service Management configuration and administration.
- Ability to write and manage JQL queries, filters, and custom dashboards.
- Experience with Confluence space management and linking JIRA issues to documentation pages.
- Familiarity with Power BI data exports or dashboard integration support.
- Basic understanding of automation rules, plugins, and REST API usage.
Leadership Skills
- Atlassian Certified JIRA Project Administrator (ACP-620) – preferred
- ITIL v4 Foundation – for understanding service workflows and SLAs
- ISO 9001 Awareness Certification – helpful for quality-aligned tool configurations
- Microsoft Power BI Fundamentals or PL-300 – optional but beneficial
Preferred Certifications
- Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator (ACP-100) – Strongly preferred
- Atlassian Certified Agile Development with JIRA (ACP-300) – Adds value for Agile / DevOps alignment
- ITIL v4 Foundation – Helpful for managing JIRA Service Management (JSM) and ITSM alignment
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) – Useful for advanced reporting and data modeling
- Scrum Master or SAFe Practitioner – Desirable for Agile / Scaled Agile environments
