Job Title: IT Projects Manager

Job Purpose:

The IT Project Manager, or IT Project Lead, is a professional who oversees the implementation of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application software within the AZAQ Group. The incumbent oversees assigned application and systems development projects of moderate to high complexity. This position is responsible for assembling the project team, assigning responsibilities, and managing schedules and resources to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.

Their main duties include project planning, resource allocation and project implementation that is in line with PMO standards and policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transform project concept into a clear plan, defining outputs and how they will be delivered.
• Define the scope, estimate project cost, prepare a baseline project & governance plan, plan resource resources & skills procurement as well as identify and manage project risks.
• Managing the planning, identification and acquisition of software, hardware, and services essential for project execution in collaboration with IT peers and project stakeholders.
• Sourcing, selection, negotiation and contracting.
• Transform project plan into a delivered product or service.
• Coordinate project governance, scope & resource management.
• Identify and facilitate risk management while managing project costs and schedule.
• Effective transfer of product/service ownership to business, IT Applications, Operations and Cybersecurity.
• Perform other project or job-related tasks & activities that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Science or Business Information Systems or any related field.
• 8+ years of experience
• Fluency in Arabic and English is a must
