We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee infrastructure and service management functions in a regulated financial services environment with the following qualifications and skills:
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day IT operations.
- Ensuring availability and reliability of critical systems.
- Enforcing ITSM processes, and supervising internal teams and vendors across networking, virtualization, and security layers.
- Managing enterprise firewalls.
- Oversee infrastructure and service management functions.
Requirements and skills:
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT operations leadership.
- Experience in the financial sector is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field.
- ITIL v4 Foundation.
- Networking Certification.
- Virtualization/Infrastructure.
- PMP or Prince2 is a plus for project coordination.
- Strong leadership in managing IT operations and infrastructure teams.
- Deep understanding of ITSM practices (incident, change, problem, asset, service request).
- Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms.
- Administration and troubleshooting of virtualization platforms (e.g., Nutanix AHV, VMware).
- Solid networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience managing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Proven ability to manage vendors and enforce SLAs.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and DR solutions.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Ability to document SOPs, workflows, and operational runbooks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills across business and technical teams.
- Capacity planning, system health monitoring, and performance tuning expertise.
- Fluent in English (verbal & written).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
