Job summary

A leading exploration and survey company seeks an experienced HSE Officer to support large-scale geophysical survey operations in Saudi Arabia. This hands-on role requires ensuring compliance with HSE standards and local regulations while maintaining a Tier-1 safety culture. Responsibilities include leading toolbox meetings, conducting inspections, and managing incident reporting. Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant HSE experience, an OHS Diploma, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of Saudi regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years' HSE experience in mining, exploration, oil & gas, or remote field operations.
  • Experience leading toolbox talks and field inspections.
  • Strong incident investigation and risk management capability.
  • Knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and large-scale industrial standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily toolbox meetings and verify JHAs / SWMS.
  • Monitor safe work practices and coach teams on behavioral safety.
  • Conduct field, vehicle, and equipment inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, PPE, fatigue, and site safety requirements.
  • Act as first responder for incidents and near misses.

CSG Talent are working with a world leader in exploration. We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support our client in large-scale geophysical survey operations across Saudi Arabia (ANT, MT, Gravity, HVSR).

This is a hands‑on, field‑based safety leadership role , responsible for ensuring compliance with internal HSE standards, local regulations, and client requirements, while maintaining a Tier-1 safety culture across all crews, vehicles, and worksites. The role will be on‑site in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily toolbox meetings and verify JHAs / SWMS
  • Monitor safe work practices and coach teams on behavioural safety
  • Conduct field, vehicle, and equipment inspections
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, PPE, fatigue, and site safety requirements
  • Act as first responder for incidents and near misses
  • Complete incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Deliver HSE inductions and provide safety guidance to field leaders
  • Liaise with client and contractor HSE stakeholders
  • Maintain HSE records, daily reports, and KPI tracking
Skills & Experience
  • 3-5+ years' HSE experience in mining, exploration, oil & gas, or remote field operations
  • Experience leading toolbox talks and field inspections
  • Strong incident investigation and risk management capability
  • Knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and large‑scale industrial standards (preferred)
  • Strong communication and observational skills
Qualifications
  • WHS / OHS Diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant HSE training
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to work in remote field environments
  • Arabic language skills highly desirable
