Responsibilities
  • The Inspector - HSE job should ensure compliance with set safety and environmental policies & procedures
  • Assist with the day-to-day HSE responsibilities of the project in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and within the approved budget.
  • Assist in meeting accountabilities for all HSE activities within the project.
  • Assist in ensuring the HSE deliverables schedule is updated based on identified project risks and mitigation plans.
  • Support the maintenance of the company's safety certifications.
  • Support the implementation of HSE policies to minimize hazards.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, regulations, rules, standards, and requirements.
  • Maintain records of all safety checks performed and ensure proper data entry into the system and document control.
  • Report all deficiencies and / or nonconformities to the Safety Engineers.
  • Issue safety reports as required.
  • Maintain records of quality inspections and inform Safety Engineers of any difficulties encountered during inspections.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Diploma in a related field
  • IOSH Managing Safely / OHSA Certification
  • First Aid Training
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in HSE in a comparable sized operation to ESEC
  • Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus
  • Good ability in analyzing and solving issues effectively
  • Proven knowledge of Construction HSE inspection
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Data Management and Record Management
  • Good knowledge of international HSE industry standards
  • A robust collaborator and effective team player
  • Delivery-oriented professional with proven records of delivering success
