Job description
Brief Role

The Housing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of employee or student housing facilities. This role ensures that accommodations are safe, clean, and compliant with company policies and local regulations. The supervisor coordinates maintenance, manages occupancy, and supports residents with housing-related concerns.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement management instructions and policies regarding employee housing.
  2. Allocate and assign workers to rooms based on nationality, job category, and religion as much as possible.
  3. Prepare housing rooms for employees, including furnishing and necessary supplies.
  4. Receive new employees and register their information in housing records.
  5. Follow up with the maintenance workshop and ensure all repair needs are met.
  6. Continuously monitor the movement of employees between housing and work sites (factories or other locations) and maintain full control.
  7. Monitor all vehicles related to housing and transportation, including breakdowns, maintenance, periodic inspections, and ensure insurance and registration documents are valid.
  8. Submit a weekly report on housing conditions and general department matters.
  9. Organize housing rooms and ensure they are occupied according to capacity.
  10. Ensure cost-saving measures in housing operations (e.g., turning off air conditioners and lights when rooms are vacant, avoiding water waste in restrooms).
  11. Participate in purchasing housing and transportation supplies.
  12. Comply with the written policies, standards, rules and regulations of the Company.
  13. Perform all other duties and activities assigned to them by their superiors within the realm of their knowledge provided it is not hazardous or dangerous to their person.
  14. Follow health and safety regulations and procedures intended to prevent accidents or injury in workplaces or public environments.
