We are seeking an experienced Head of Tendering & Proposals to lead our Tendering Department and drive the development of competitive, technically compliant, and commercially sound bids across major electrical projects.

This leadership role is key to improving win rates, strengthening market positioning, and ensuring alignment between commercial strategy and execution.

🔑 Role Purpose

Lead and manage the tendering function to deliver high-quality proposals for MV & LV switchgear, E-Houses, transformers, and associated electrical solutions—ensuring accuracy, compliance, profitability, and timely submission.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the bid / no-bid evaluation and overall tender strategy
• Manage tender workload and guide a team of tender engineers
• Review and approve technical & commercial proposals, costing, and risk assessments
• Own third-party quotations and ensure full technical and commercial alignment
• Lead technical communication with EPCs, consultants, and end users
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Projects
• Support Sales during order finalization and change order costing
• Ensure effective contract review and handover to Project ManagementMonitor hit rates, quotation quality, offer lifecycle, and submission timelines
• Drive continuous improvement in costing tools, proposal quality, and operational efficiency
• Integrate market intelligence to enhance competitiveness and win probability

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7–10 years of experience in tendering, proposals, or commercial roles within electrical manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, power distribution solutions, and EPC contracting
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project
• Familiarity with IEC / ANSI / NEMA standards
• Fluent in English & Arabic (spoken and written)
