Head of Organization Effectiveness
Role Purpose
The Head of Organization Effectiveness is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving organizational structures, processes, and people strategies to enhance performance, efficiency, and alignment with strategic objectives. The role ensures that the organization operates effectively through optimized structures, clear governance, workforce planning, performance management, and change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Organization Design & Governance
- Lead organization design initiatives, including structure reviews, role clarity, spans of control, and reporting lines.
- Develop and maintain organization charts, job architectures, and role profiles aligned with business strategy.
- Establish and refine governance frameworks, decision rights, and operating models to improve efficiency and accountability.
Organization Effectiveness & Process Improvement
- Assess organizational effectiveness and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders to streamline processes, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and improve productivity.
- Define and track organization effectiveness KPIs and dashboards.
Workforce Planning & Capability Building
- Lead strategic workforce planning, manpower budgeting, and capacity planning in line with short- and long-term business needs.
- Identify critical roles and skills; support succession planning and talent readiness initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders on capability development and organizational readiness.
Performance Management
- Design and enhance performance management frameworks, ensuring alignment between individual objectives and organizational goals.
- Support leaders in embedding a performance-driven culture through clear metrics, accountability, and continuous feedback.
Change Management
- Lead organization-wide change initiatives related to restructuring, transformation, and growth.
- Develop change management plans, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement approaches.
- Monitor adoption, readiness, and impact of change initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organization effectiveness matters.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Strategy, PMO, and other functions to ensure alignment and execution.
- Prepare reports, insights, and recommendations for executive leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in organization effectiveness, organization design, HR strategy, or management consulting.
- Proven experience in large, complex organizations, preferably within development, construction, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Strong exposure to transformation programs, operating model design, and change management initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Expertise in organization design, workforce planning, and performance management frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
