As a Head of Business Development for South Asia, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing relationships with our clients, lead South Asian region and consolidating our presence on the local market.

This is a remote vacancy open to candidates residing in South Asia.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead the South Asia Business Development team across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
  • Achieve financial and growth targets.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensure strong process discipline, and monitor team performance through clear KPIs and consistent follow-up.
  • Drive the acquisition of new business partners and the growth of existing accounts through strategic relationship management and negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with key regional partners to strengthen long‑term commercial relationships and unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high‑performing, process‑oriented team that executes with clarity and accountability.
  • Establish efficient workflows, reporting structures, and scalable sales processes to ensure consistent execution across markets.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to align on goals, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis, forecasting, and competitive benchmarking to support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Represent the company at industry events and partner meetings, promoting our brand and strategic vision in the region.
  • Provide regular business reviews and actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in the travel or hospitality industry, ideally in B2B distribution, OTA, or travel tech.
  • Proven track record in leading commercial or business development teams (minimum 3 years in a leadership role).
  • Experience managing Team Leads.
  • An understanding of tourism and the main online booking systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • An ability to quickly grasp the features of new markets.
  • Fluent English (C1+).
