Group Insurance Manager (Large Scale Manufacturing Group), Riyadh
Our client is a leading large-sized company in the field of diversified manufacturing activities. Operating as a prominent group with multiple factories and facilities, they are seeking a highly experienced Group Insurance Manager to be based in Riyadh. This role is pivotal in protecting the group’s assets, operations, and employees by aligning insurance activities with the group's risk management and governance framework.
Reports to: Shared Services Director (CTO)
Location: Riyadh
Working Days: 5 days per week
Joining Time: 30 to 60 days
Comprehensive Policy Management: Oversee and manage all insurance policies across group companies and factories, including medical, motor, property, marine, and erection coverage.
Renewal & Negotiation: Lead negotiations with insurance companies and brokers to secure favorable terms, optimal coverage, and competitive premium rates for all renewals and new policies.
Claims Management: Manage the end-to-end insurance claims process, coordinating with internal departments and external assessors to ensure accurate and timely settlements.
Medical Insurance Administration: Supervise the group’s medical insurance for employees, managing additions, deletions, and data integrity within the HR system.
Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all facilities comply with safety, environmental, and Civil Defense standards as required by insurance policy conditions and local regulations.
Asset Inspection & Reporting: Develop inspection checklists, conduct periodic field visits to factories and warehouses, and prepare monthly reports on compliance and improvement actions.
Strategic Guidance: Analyze existing policies to minimize risk exposure and provide professional counsel to management on risk mitigation and policy adjustments.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Risk Management, or Business Administration; professional insurance certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive insurance management experience, specifically within large-scale industrial groups (500–1,000+ employees).
Experience Context: Proven track record in handling complex medical, property, and fleet insurance portfolios.
Market Knowledge: Must have experience in the KSA market if applying from outside the country.
Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English
