Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is looking for an experienced coordinator to manage relationships and events with high-level government officials in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills in English and Chinese, strong coordination abilities, and a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in a governmental or multinational context. This role is critical in driving effective communication and planning for governmental visits and collaborations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of working experience.
  • Preferably with experience in government or a sizable multinational company.
  • Proficient in government protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internally for agenda assistance during Saudi visits.
  • Handle communication with China Office for government requests.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internally to assist visit agenda by High-level Chinese Government Officials to head office and project sites during their saudi visits.
  • Coordinate externally with government counterparties to confirm meetings.
  • Coordinate with all functions to organize and execute the meetings and receptions of visiting gov officials.
  • Handle day-to-day communication and coordination with China Office for gov requests and other tasks.
  • Follow up action on meetings with government and push forward internal coordination across internal functions.
  • Form clear timetable for major events / calendar of relevance hosted by Saudi government.
  • Plan and execute year-round participation in key Saudi gov trips to China in conjunction with China visits of global and China leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze China policies affecting the organization.
  • Assist in developing and implementing advocacy strategies to influence policy outcomes in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare position papers, testimony, and briefing materials.
  • Track and report on government activities, policy trends, and potential risks / opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years + working experience.
  • Prefer the candidate with work experience in government / sizable mature multi-national company.
  • Proficient in government protocols and work procedures with a deep understanding of government work and structure.
  • Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. English-Chinese interpretation skills is a plus.
  • Outstanding coordination skills, able to develop plans amid changes with strong will to coordinate across departments.
  • Good team player.
