Who we are looking for

A Fund Accounting Senior Associate is required to work in a client facing role within State Street’s daily operations department. As part of the daily role they will be reviewing the Net Asset Values of KSA and Middle East registered portfolios and pricing. The role holder is expected to work with State Street’s outsourced service centers and centers of excellence ensuring that all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards. The candidate is expected to be well versed in Arabic to be able to translate/review statements that may require translations to English by Operational FA teams.

What you will be responsible for

As Fund Accounting Senior Associate you will

  • Review and/or prepare daily NAV calculations, research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review complex client deliverables and provide technical expertise.
  • Ensure successful delivery of daily prices by agreed deadlines as per client SLA and coordinate other regular periodic deliverables to the client in line with SLA (e.g. Yields, KPIs, Expense invoices).
  • Develop and review procedures and ensure documentation exists for any client‑specific procedures.
  • Ensure the line manager and others, as appropriate, are kept aware of all issues/problems/queries/work in progress that may impact upon the quality of service being given.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, third parties and colleagues, communicating effectively through formalised reporting and ad‑hoc liaison.
  • Review corporate documentation on processes, procedures and controls and evaluate the continuing effectiveness of these and related systems, initiating remedial action as necessary.
  • Monitor errors and potential breaches; complete relevant documentation and ensure training needs are identified and relevant training is carried out, liaise and assist with audit/internal queries.
  • Review periodic statements from the client/IM/others. Make sure those are correctly interpreted in English especially if in Arabic.
