Job summary

A global engineering and construction company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Accounting Chief. This role involves overseeing daily financial operations, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with Saudi financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of supervisory experience in accounting, preferably in the construction sector, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in SAP and strong leadership skills are required. Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory accounting experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi VAT and tax regulations.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities to analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements according to Saudi accounting standards.
• Oversee the complete payment process, ensuring timely transfers.
• Maintain and reconcile cash and bank ledgers daily.
• Assist in preparing monthly cash budgets and realization reports.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi financial laws and regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes.
