TGRC is excited to partner a rapidly expanding renewable energy and distributed energy platform operating across the Gulf region, focused on distributed C&I solar. The company has recently been acquired by a leading global infrastructure fund and is now scaling operations, regional platform capabilities, governance, and investment activities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and neighboring markets in the GCC, with a diversified portfolio spanning early-stage development to operating assets.

The Finance Director will lead all financial strategy, reporting, treasury, tax, compliance, audit, and financial operations across the GCC. The role is critical in supporting the platform’s growth, ensuring alignment with local regulations, and maintaining financial excellence.

Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Control
  • Oversee statutory and management reporting across all entities in the GCC and project SPVs.
  • Ensure compliance with SOCPA accounting standards and IFRS reporting requirements.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, and performance management.
  • Establish robust internal controls, financial policies, and audit readiness frameworks.
Taxation & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax (WHT), VAT, and other Saudi tax regulations.
  • Manage relationships with ZATCA, including filings, assessments, audits, appeals, and correspondence.
  • Oversee tax planning, group structuring, treaty applications, cross-border tax exposure, and SPV compliance.
  • Ensure procurement, supply-chain payments, construction contracts, and service arrangements follow correct tax treatments.
  • Implement tax governance policies and maintain accurate documentation for all reporting cycles.
Treasury, Cashflow & Capital Management
  • Lead cashflow forecasting, treasury operations, capital allocation, and liquidity management.
  • Manage banking relationships, multi-currency accounts, and FX exposure arising from cross-border transactions.
  • Oversee project drawdowns, loan compliance, debt covenants, and financial close documentation.
Project & Corporate Finance
  • Participate in financing processes for new assets, including coordinating with lenders, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support refinancing, hedging strategies, and long-term financial structuring for assets and platforms.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, or joint ventures.
Operational & Systems Leadership
  • Implement financial systems, ERP upgrades, automated reporting, and governance enhancements.
  • Oversee procurement governance, insurance portfolios, fixed-asset management, and contract compliance.
  • Build scalable processes for reporting across multiple operating jurisdictions.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead and mentor a growing finance team.
  • Support senior management with business performance insights, commercial analysis, and investment decision-making.
  • Partner with legal, commercial, and project development functions to ensure integrated financial oversight.
Expectations
  • 12–18 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5+ years in Saudi Arabia in a leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of Zakat, WHT, VAT, retention tax, customs duties, and the Saudi regulatory environment.
  • Strong expertise in SOCPA, IFRS, consolidation, treasury, and project finance.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, or capital-intensive sectors preferred.
  • Proven track record in building finance teams and managing multi-entity reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency preferred but not mandatory.
