About the Role
To contribute to supporting and developing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework within the organization by preparing and reviewing risk reports, submitting quarterly reports to management, providing professional advice to management, and ensuring compliance with the requirements and regulations of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) in line with governance and risk management standards.
The role includes overall risk oversight, covering operational, compliance, and other types of risks, while ensuring the effectiveness of controls and procedures within the risk management framework, and enhancing financial stability and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks in compliance with Saudi Central Bank requirements.
- Familiarity with SAMA circulars and instructions, with the ability to respond to and provide the Saudi Central Bank with required feedback and information.
- Preparation of quarterly risk reports.
- Ability to analyze risk performance and prepare related reports.
- Assessment of credit, operational, and liability risks related to financing portfolios.
- Oversight of stress testing activities and analysis of results to support decision-making.
- Collection, updating, and regular monitoring of Early Warning Indicators (EWI).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management or a related risk function.
- Experience working with SAMA regulations is highly preferred.
- Practical experience in preparing and analyzing enterprise risk reports and presenting them to senior management to support decision-making.
- Ability to prepare professional presentations and reports in both Arabic and English.
- Good knowledge of the regulations and instructions issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) related to risk management.
- Ability to assess operational and financial risks and prepare periodic reports in accordance with SAMA requirements.
- Strong skills in evaluating operational, financial, and strategic risks and following up on mitigation plans.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a risk team, distribute tasks, and develop team capabilities.
