  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including PDUs and UPS.

  • Respond to emergency service calls for generator issues.

Job description
Role & Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, troubleshooting and maintenance activities of all electrical systems, including but not limited to power distribution units (PDUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, switchgears, transfer switches, all associated control and power systems.
  • Perform any required or regular maintenance tasks to ensure that all systems operate correctly.
  • Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escape.
  • Perform all required routine maintenance activities, including oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-site repairs as needed to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot generators mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Prepare reports of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs if required.
  • Adhere to HSE safety protocols & procedures for working with high‑voltage equipment and potentially hazardous materials.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Minimum Experience of 3-5 years of hands‑on experience working with Power and Control include installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Power systems preferably in a data center or similar critical environment.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, which may include lifting heavy parts or working in confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and installation best practices.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high‑voltage systems, UPS, and generators.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools.
  • Understanding of electrical, and control systems to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and to solve different issues efficiently.
  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks and ensuring all systems operate correctly with hands‑on experience in implementing and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and to minimize downtime.
  • Ability to respond to emergency repairs and effectively maintain, repair, and troubleshoot generators complex issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring they operate reliably and safely including diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues with generators.
  • Understanding and adhering to HSE safety protocols & procedures for working with high‑voltage equipment and potentially hazardous materials.
  • Ability to adapt to technology and industry standards of datacenters.
  • Ability to coordinate with other parties for installation and maintenance activities.
