Overview
A motivated Saudi electrical engineering graduate seeking to apply foundational engineering knowledge in real-world projects. Skilled in electrical systems, power distribution, and engineering analysis, with a strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations within the Kingdom. Eager to contribute to national projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and to grow within a professional engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, testing, and evaluating electrical systems and components for industrial, commercial, or utility projects.
- Support senior engineers in preparing technical drawings, layouts, and documentation using engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB).
- Participate in onsite inspections, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
- Conduct troubleshooting and basic analysis of electrical faults or system performance.
- Assist in preparing project reports, feasibility studies, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Electrical Code (SEC), safety standards, and organizational guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, civil, and project engineering groups.
- Stay informed about new technologies and energy initiatives in KSA, including renewable energy and smart grid developments.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, control systems, and electronics.
- Familiar with engineering tools such as ETAP, MATLAB/Simulink, AutoCAD, or PLC programming.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an engineering team.
- Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and adapt to engineering field conditions.
Education
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional for Fresh Graduates)
- Internships or cooperative training (CO-OP) at companies like Aramco, SEC, SABIC, Ma’aden, NEOM, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of Saudi building codes and electrical safety regulations.
- Awareness of renewable energy systems (solar/wind) and energy efficiency principles.
