Job summary

A leading engineering firm is hiring a Safety / EHS Engineer for high-voltage transmission line and substation projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and NEBOSH Certification, along with 5 to 10 years of EHS experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities include conducting HSE sessions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a safety-first culture. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) required.
• NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in EHS roles in construction.
• Experience in high-voltage transmission lines or substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans.
• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety-first culture according to company HSE policies.
• Provide reports related to safety performance.
