Role Summary

As Director of Business Development, you will lead enterprise and government growth for UnlockLand—owning the full commercial lifecycle from strategic outreach to signed partnerships and long‑term expansion. You will build a high‑quality pipeline across developers, institutional investors, ministries, planning authorities, and large‑scale real estate programs, and translate market demand into actionable product and go‑to‑market priorities.

Key Responsibilities (Elaborated)
  • Own and scale UnlockLand’s revenue pipeline across enterprise clients and public‑sector stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with developers, investors, REITs, consultants, and government entities to drive platform adoption.
  • Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder deal cycles from discovery to negotiation, contracting, and close.
2. Strategic Partnerships & National Programs
  • Identify and structure partnerships with ministries, regulators, planning authorities, accelerators, and strategic ecosystem players.
  • Develop partnership frameworks for pilots, city‑scale deployments, and nationwide initiatives aligned with Vision 2030 objectives.
  • Coordinate proposal development, MoUs, and commercial agreements with government and enterprise counterparts.
  • Build and execute GTM plans for priority regions and sectors (e.g., residential, mixed‑use, infrastructure, industrial).
  • Develop segmentation strategies, ICPs, and value propositions tailored to different buyer types (developers vs. ministries vs. institutional capital).
  • Create scalable playbooks for entering new markets, including pricing assumptions, implementation pathways, and success metrics.
4. Product Commercialization & Solution Selling
  • Translate client needs into product requirements—helping shape modules around feasibility, zoning/regulatory intelligence, and predictive analytics.
  • Run high‑impact product demos and executive workshops that quantify ROI (time saved, risk reduction, capital efficiency).
  • Package offerings into clear solution tiers (pilot → enterprise → national deployment) with measurable outcomes.
5. Pipeline Management & Performance Execution
  • Build forecasting discipline: maintain CRM hygiene, pipeline velocity tracking, and conversion improvement.
  • Define commercial KPIs (meetings, qualified pipeline, win rate, ACV, sales cycle, renewal/expansion).
  • Partner with Marketing to drive demand generation through events, thought leadership, and targeted ABM.
6. Executive Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategic accounts, board‑level opportunities, and investor‑facing growth narratives.
  • Represent UnlockLand at industry forums, government meetings, and innovation summits as a trusted commercial leader.
  • Support partnership governance post‑close to ensure adoption, renewals, and expansion.
Ideal Profile

The ideal Director of Business Development is a strategic, relationship‑driven commercial leader with:

  • 8–15+ years in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or GTM leadership (PropTech, real estate, SaaS, AI, fintech, or infrastructure).
  • Proven success closingcomplex enterprise and/or public‑sector deals with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.
  • Strong familiarity withreal estate development economics (feasibility, entitlements, underwriting, capital stacks) and the workflows of developers/investors.
  • Experience engagingministries, regulators, planning authorities, or national transformation programs (Vision 2030 experience is a major plus).
  • Ability to selltechnical platforms with clarity—communicating product value to both executives and technical stakeholders.
  • A builder mindset: comfortable creating playbooks, partnerships, pricing, packaging, and repeatable growth systems from scratch.
  • Passion for AI‑driven transformation, smarter cities, and scaling real estate intelligence globally.

  • Build a prioritized pipeline of high‑value enterprise and government opportunities.
  • Close landmark partnerships (pilot + enterprise contract structure) and establish repeatable pathways for expansion.
  • Implement a scalable BD operating system: CRM process, pipeline reporting, and GTM playbooks.
  • Establish UnlockLand as a trusted partner in AI‑enabled planning and feasibility for developers and governments.
