Overview

We are looking for a certified Building Manager for our brand-new campus that will be built in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Building Supervisor will be the proprietors' representative that is accountable for running the whole building site. The Construction Supervisor's duty consists of:

Responsibilities
  • Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, designers, clients, estimators, and surveyors.
  • Knowledge of the local building codes and the requirements of the Ministry of Education.
  • Follow-up to issuing building licenses from various local authorities.
  • Establishing the program of work and strategy.
  • Planning ahead to avoid issues on site before they occur, for instance planning the distribution and storage of equipment and materials.
  • Conducting safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring health, safety and environmental regulations are followed.
  • Overseeing the running of multiple projects and awareness of material and system specifications, deadlines, risks of late delivery, and contingency plans.
  • Using construction management software to plan smooth work flows.
  • Communicating with a range of stakeholders including owners, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce.
Qualifications
  • Market and job experience.
  • University degree in civil/construction engineering or pertinent fields.
  • Applicants from outside KSA need to be holder of Design level attestable from the Saudi Cultural Attaché in their residence nation.
  • Forward planner with outstanding skills and the ability to present ideas and negotiate them.
  • Excellent issue resolving skills.
  • IT skills with particularly AutoCAD.
