We are looking for a Cloudera Administrator to manage and support enterprise data platforms. You’ll be responsible for cluster performance, security, and availability while partnering with data engineers and developers to optimize workloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and administer Cloudera clusters to ensure stability and scalability.
  • Monitor system health and performance, proactively identify issues, and implement fixes.
  • Oversee cluster security, including authentication, authorization, and data governance.
  • Handle version upgrades, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Partner with developers, analysts, and engineers to provide cluster support and technical guidance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in system or data platform administration.
  • Proven expertise with Cloudera Manager and key ecosystem components (HDFS, Hive, Spark).
  • Strong Linux administration skills (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and cluster monitoring tools.
  • Solid knowledge of cluster security frameworks (Kerberos, Ranger).
  • Understanding of high availability, backup, and recovery strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or shell scripting).
  • Exposure to managing large‑scale enterprise‑grade Cloudera deployments.
  • Familiarity with cloud or hybrid big data environments is a plus.
