Job summary

A leading construction firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a licensed Geodetic Engineer to conduct site surveys, manage construction measurements, and ensure all civil works comply with design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, strong civil engineering knowledge, and proficiency in surveying instruments and AutoCAD. Candidates must register with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and the Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering or surveying.
• Proficient in using surveying instruments.
• Strong understanding of civil construction standards.

Job Summary

Responsible for conducting surveys, measurements, and inspections to ensure civil construction works are executed accurately according to design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements.
• Set out construction points and levels.
• Verify as-built conditions.
• Identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare survey reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams and QA/QC teams.
• Maintain surveying instruments.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Duties including calculations of latitude, longitude, angles, areas and other information for map making.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Geodetic Engineer and/or Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Proficient in surveying instruments and AutoCAD.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred

• Experience with large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and regional regulations.
• Certification in surveying is an advantage.

Other Requirements

• Must register with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
