A leading company in the Interior Designing sector is seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer specializing in wet utilities. This role involves the design and planning of potable water, stormwater, and wastewater systems, requiring strong technical knowledge and experience in infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring designs meet municipal regulations and integrating with other engineering disciplines.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineer Wet Utilities with 3+ years of experience to support the planning, design, and detailing of wet utility systems including potable water, stormwater, wastewater, and irrigation networks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in infrastructure design and hydraulic modeling.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and prepare designs, layouts, profiles, and cross-sections for wet utility networks using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological analysis for water supply, sewage, and storm drainage systems.
• Prepare design reports, BOQs, specifications, and calculation sheets in accordance with local and international codes.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and ensure integration with roads, landscape, and structural designs.
• Ensure all designs comply with municipal regulations and authority requirements (e.g., NOC submissions, approvals).
• Participate in design review meetings, value engineering sessions, and site coordination when required.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and responding to contractor RFIs during construction support phases.
• Maintain clear documentation and version control of design deliverables.
Requirements:
• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design of wet utility networks.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, SewerGEMS, WaterCAD, or similar hydraulic modeling tools.
• Good understanding of local authority standards (e.g., DM, DEWA, ADSSC, Ashghal, etc.) and international design codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team.
