We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our expanding business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, fundraising capabilities, and deep exposure to capital-intensive sectors such as heavy equipment rental, construction, infrastructure, logistics, or industrial services. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building the finance function from the ground up, ensuring financial governance, and supporting long-term strategic growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategy aligned with group objectives.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and performance tracking.
- Support CEO and Group CFO in investment decisions, expansion plans, and strategic initiatives.
- Fundraising & Capital Management
- Lead debt, equity, and project financing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with Saudi and GCC banks, financial institutions, and investors.
- Structure and negotiate financing deals, working capital limits, lease lines, and project loans.
- Optimize capital allocation, interest costs, and cash flow.
- Controllership & Financial Governance
- Establish finance, accounting, audit, and compliance processes in accordance with Saudi regulations, ZATCA, IFRS, and Group policies.
- Implement internal controls, cost management systems, and financial reporting frameworks.
- Oversee statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Treasury, Banking & Investor Relations
- Manage treasury operations, liquidity, cash flow planning, and FX exposure.
- Handle banking documentation, covenant compliance, and fund utilization.
- Present financial results and strategic updates to shareholders and stakeholders.
- Commercial & Operational Finance
- Partner with operations and sales teams on pricing, commercial contracts, and vendor negotiations.
- Monitor asset utilization, equipment ROI, project profitability, and cost optimization.
- Implement contract reviews, credit control, and revenue assurance mechanisms.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Build and manage a high-performing finance and commercial team in KSA.
- Set up efficient processes, reporting structures, and performance culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- 12–20 years of senior finance experience, with minimum 5+ years in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
- Proven experience in heavy equipment rental, construction, infrastructure, logistics, or oil & gas (mandatory).
- Strong background in fundraising, project finance, banking relations, and investor management.
- Experience in setting up finance functions for greenfield operations preferred.
- Hands‑on expertise in IFRS, financial modeling, project financing, ERP systems (SAP preferred).
